Bio
Hi! My name is Shelby, I am the baker behind Redhead Baking Company. I have always considered myself a creative person, but there was never an art medium that really spoke to me, or encouraged me enough to apply for art school. So I began touring some local colleges and found myself at the open house for CVTC's new kitchen for the culinary management program. I applied, fell in love with the science and meticulousness of baking, and completed my degree with a focus in baking and pastry in 2021. After gathering experience and knowledge in the field, here I am a few years later looking to open a business of my own.
I've found a passion for baking from scratch desserts using fresh ingredients and simple, elegant designs. Working with clients one on one to design and bring their vision to life, whether it be a wedding, birthday, bridal shower, or holiday party, is always an exciting process. I am happy to be learning from and working primarily with an amazing team at KP Katering located at the Eau Claire Event District. Thanks for reading and I look forward to working with you!​​
